Hey, I'm Alyssa

I’m the owner and head trainer of Canyon State Canine here in Surprise, Arizona! I’ve been professionally training dogs since 2015, and like most people, have loved dogs all my life. Currently, I have three personal dogs: Gypsy, ChaCha, and Francois. You’ll often see them out with me acting as distractions for dogs I have in training.

I love what I do because it isn’t just sit, and stay. Dog training, to me, means creating clear communication between you and your dog. When you can communicate clearly and with compassion your relationship will flourish. I help people to genuinely ENJOY their dogs, and it means everything to me that so many people entrust me with such an important task.
